Efrem Melián holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Educational Psychology. He is currently doing a PhD in Education & ICT with a scholarship from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). His research interests are related, on the one hand, to the experiences of students with disabilities in online higher education and the decisions around the disclosure of disability. On the other, to the factors contributing to the persistence or dropout of online PhD students from their online doctoral programs.
