Marlon Xavier is a PhD researcher in Education and ICT at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) in Barcelona, Spain. He earned his PhD in Social Psychology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 2012. He is also an adjunct professor of Psychology at the University of Caxias do Sul (UCS) in Brazil (currently on sabbatical leave).
